On Saturday, April 3, 2025, at 11:00 AM, a special discussion meeting was held at the Ukhiya Upazila Health Complex to mark the visit of Professor Dr. Md. Abu Zafar, Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Officials of the Ukhiya Upazila Health Department, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals participated in the meeting. The discussion focused on the improvement of healthcare services, existing challenges, and potential solutions.

Dr. Md. Abu Zafar visited different wards of the Ukhiya hospital and expressed satisfaction with the quality of services being provided. He also encouraged healthcare workers to remain dedicated and sincere in serving the public.
